		<description>I have been interested in Norman history for some time and never realized that we had such a world class famous Bathonian as Adelard.I am Bath born and 63 and have now found a new interest! It would be interesting to know just where he did live on the east side of Bath and in Wiltshire (Around Colerne or Marshfield perhaps) or just off the fosse way at the top of Bannerdown hill.There are some estates which go back to the  13/14 century which could have earler medieval associations.I wonder if we could pin point the location a bit more</description>
